Chota Pandit Ji standing beside a diya in a home mandir

A familiar face

Every pooja corner has its regulars

The diya. The bell. The little steel plate that has been there for as long as anyone remembers. Chota Pandit Ji joins them as one more: small, upright, hands folded, moustache immaculate.

He is a character rather than a deity, a tiny priest with an outsized sense of occasion, sculpted mid-namaste in temple orange.

Bring Chota Pandit Ji home

Three steps, then let it burn

The opening sits beside his head, at the hairline. Sticks go in unlit and hold at an angle.

  1. Chota Pandit Ji standing on a wooden desk

    Stand him steady

Place him on a flat, heat-resistant surface, with a tray or plate underneath to catch ash.

  2. A hand sliding an incense stick into the opening beside his head

    Slide the stick in

Insert an unlit incense stick into the opening. It should sit firmly without being forced.

  3. Chota Pandit Ji in a home mandir, with smoke rising from the incense

Light it, then let it settle

Light the tip, blow the flame out and let it glow. Never leave it unattended.

Incense sticks are shown to demonstrate use and are not included.

What exactly is Chota Pandit Ji?

A character figurine that doubles as an incense stick holder. He is an original Sculptria character, a small priest figure in a namaste pose, and is sold as a decorative collectible, not as a religious idol or a licensed character from any film or show.

How big is he?

4.5 inches tall, roughly 11.5 cm. The hand-held photograph in the gallery shows the true scale.

What is he made from?

Premium vinyl/PVC, with a glossy orange finish, gold detailing and black sculpted hair.

How many incense sticks does he hold?

There is one opening, set beside his head at the hairline. Use a standard agarbatti that fits without being forced, and burn one stick at a time.

Are incense sticks or a tray included?

No. You receive the holder only. Incense sticks, and the tray or plate you will want underneath him, are not included.

How is falling ash handled?

Stand him on a tray, plate or other heat-resistant surface that can catch ash. The round base is a display base and is not designed to collect ash.

How should I clean him?

Let the incense and the holder cool completely first. Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Do not wash him, soak him or use abrasive cleaners.

When will my order dispatch and arrive?

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days of confirmation, and usually delivered 2–7 working days after that, depending on your location and the courier. Tracking is shared once your order ships, and timelines can stretch during festive peaks. Read the shipping policy.

What if it arrives damaged?

Write to sculptria.in@gmail.com with your order number and photographs as soon as possible after delivery.

Please note that orders are non-refundable and returns are accepted only where approved under our exchange guidelines. Read the refund policy.
